Well, we're back from Mexico! Me and Ryan haven't been on a trip with just each other for a looong time. We just tried to relax as much as possible. Ate, drank, slept, layed on the beach, got a massage, took a boat ride to Isla Mujeres, did some shopping down town. It was just what we needed. Now we're back and ready for the holiday season!

We missed Syd sooo much! The cold weather on the other hand, not so much. The day after we got back we bundled up and went for a walk to the park. Good times.

So much fun!

Last weekend we had an "end of summer party" at my parents house, it was loads of fun! The weather was perfect, there was tons of delicious food, friends and even a live band! Syd and the other kids had a blast dancing and it was very entertaining to watch. She is such a cool little girl, she absolutely LOVED the live music! She has some pretty awesome dance moves too, must get it from her mommy:) I didn't get any pics from the party but here are some I snapped of her being adorable.

Here's what we've been up to.... Took Syd on her first camping trip, it was only for the day but we had a blast! Took her to the zoo for the first time, she LOVES animals. Watched the movie " The Adventures of Elmo in Grouchland" like, a million times. It's Syds favorite, she points at the tv and says alma alma (that's Elmo). She is growing up way too fast! She only wants to go up and down the stairs like a big person. She's starting to say some words, throw some fits, me and Ryan have a lot on our hands... in a good way. Me and Ryan had our five year anniversary! He surprised me and got off work early and took me to dinner:) We are celebrating more in November, taking a trip to MEXICO! Me and Chels are going to Vegas again at the end of Sept. trying to make it an annual thing. I'm super excited!

Syds party turned out AWESOME! It might have been extremely hot and muggy, but that's ok. It was a "tea party" theme, sort of. We had mostly finger foods and Chelsea made some super cute flower arrangements in these little tea cups.... Great setting, good food, family and friends, it couldn't have been any better:)

I can't believe my little babe is 1 already! It is kind of sad:( but so much fun to watch her grow and learn! We had her party yesterday, it was a lot of work but it turned out really well, those pics will be coming soon. It's crazy how much love you can have for one tiny little person:)A year ago today.
